ABHYANGA WITH STEAM

Abhyanga is a time-honored technique designed to alleviate body aches and promote rejuvenation. This traditional Ayurvedic body massage involves two therapists working in perfect harmony, utilizing the combined effects of lukewarm medicated oil and uniform strokes with gentle pressure. The procedure is followed by a revitalizing steam bath that helps in removing the metabolic waste from the body.

Procedure and Duration

Abhyanga is administered by two skilled therapists, ensuring uniform strokes on both sides of the body. Lukewarm medicated oil, tailored to your body type and dosha predominance, is applied during the procedure. The treatment encompasses a synchronized massage of all body parts, from head to toe. This is followed by herbal steam bath inside a specially made cabinet.

PODIKIZHI

Podikizhi or Choorna Pinda Sweda is a highly beneficial therapy renowned for alleviating aches and body pain. Widely practiced in Ayurveda, this treatment is particularly effective as a primary intervention for various joint-related and neurological pathologies. The procedure involves massaging the body with boluses containing medicated herbal powder dipped in specific oils.
