Heal Sore Throat without Antibiotics
Sore throat is one of the common problems that almost everyone faces in their lives. The problem of sore throat mostly occurs due to viral infections. People affected with sore throat problems may experience the change in the voice module. Mild pain, difficulty in swallowing, slight swelling in the throat area etc are the common symptoms of sore throat.
What causes sore throat?
A sore throat may occur due to many reasons but the major causes of sore throat are stated below-

You can Gargle with:
- Henna leaves – These may also be used as a decoction that you can gargle.
- Cardamom powder – Dissolve the powder in water, strain, and gargle.
- Methi seeds – Boil them in water, strain, and gargle.
- Basil water – Gargle with water boiled with Basil leaves, turmeric and water
You can take 1 tsp licorice powder and suck it with honey twice a day. Also, you can add it to warm water and gargle with it, twice a day.

Add a spoon of honey and lemon juice to warm water and drink it. Honey can help relieve the pain of a sore throat.
Tea with ginger and honey is a popular concoction that soothes the inflamed throat.
Red hibiscus tea helps ease your sore throat. Red hibiscus tea is also beneficial as it is high in Vitamin C.
Add 1 tsp of Yashtimadhu (licorice roots) to 2 cups of water and boil the mixture for 5-10 minutes. Drink this decoction 2-3 times a day. You may also add some honey to it.
Mix ¼ tsp of Triphala powder in water and leave it covered overnight. Drink the clear water in the morning. Triphala has high levels of Vitamin C and clears mucus from the body

Giloy plays a critical role in curing cough and soreness of the throat.. Giloy contains high anti-inflammatory properties that reduce the swelling of the throat and decreases the pain.
Drink the concoction boiled with Mint leaves, ginger, water and lemongrass
Take one tablespoon of coriander seed with a piece of ginger, mash them and crush them.Put these two crushed ingredients into the water, and boil the water for 5 to 6 minutes.Strain the liquid in the glass and mix one or two tablespoons of honey in it.Drink this concoction at least two times a day.
Amla juice is known to help cure cough and sore throat.
Boil 1 tsp fenugreek in 250 ml of water for 5 minutes, strain and drink it
Boil half tsp cinnamon powder in 250 ml of water for 5 minutes, strain and let it be warm/cold enough, then add some honey and lemon and drink it.
